Recognizing the causes and symptoms of appendicitis

Not so many people know what appendicitis is.  Before we know more about appendicitis, we need to recognize the function of the appendix organ.

The appendix and spleen child are considered organs that have no benefits and are often considered detrimental because they have the potential to cause appendicitis.  Actually the appendix organ has a function that is quite important for our body.

This appendicitis organ has a role to store good bacteria to help digestion in digesting food.

An German anatomist, R. Wiedersheim, made a journal of a list of useless organs or vestigial organs in 1985. The list included 100 organs, including appendicitis and coccyx.

Along with developments and advancements in the field of science, it was found that all the organs included in the list of useless organs issued by R. Wiedersheim actually had various functions that were very important for humans.

Appendicitis or tufts of worms in the human digestive system, which were once considered useless organs, turned out to be lymphoid organs or organs that produce anticancer substances that can fight various infections that occur in the human body.

The definition of appendicitis is a condition where the appendix or appendix is swollen and filled with pus.  Appendix itself is an organ that resembles a finger-shaped sac that protrudes from the large intestine on the right side of our stomach.

Appendicitis causes pain that starts from around the navel and then radiates to the lower right part of the abdomen.  Appendicitis will generally increase at 12 to 18 hours and can become very severe very quickly.

Appendicitis can occur in anyone, but it is more common in people aged 10 to 30 years.  The usual treatment for appendicitis is simply by removing the appendix by surgery.

 inflammation of the appendix

 The causes of appendicitis include:

~ There is a blockage.  The remnants of food and dirt in the body are hardened and trapped in holes in the abdominal cavity so that they enter and fill the appendix.

~ Infection.  Appendicitis can occur due to an infection, such as an infection in the gastrointestinal tract or it could be due to swelling in other parts of the digestive system.

In both cases, the bacteria will attack quickly, causing the appendix to become inflamed and filled with pus.  If something like this is not immediately treated, the appendix will rupture.

 Signs of appendicitis include:

 > Pain like itching that starts from around the abdomen and often radiates to the lower right abdomen

 > Very painful pain within a few hours

 > Feeling immune when pressing the lower right abdomen

 > Sharp pain when a sore stomach is pressed

 > Pain that worsens when coughing, walking or moving

 > Nausea

 > Vomiting

 > Appetite is lost

 > Mild fever

 > Constipation or constipation

 > It's hard to get rid of the wind
